In order to allow our library workers time with their families, we will be observing special holiday hours the week of Thanksgiving.

Exciting library update – we received notice that we were awarded a grant from the Texas Book Festival in September 2024:
Congratulations! On behalf of Texas Book Festival (TBF) and Texas Library Association (TLA), your library has been selected as a 2024 Texas Book Festival Collections Enhancement Grant recipient. We are proud to support the work you are doing to help foster a love of reading in your community and to best serve your library patrons with books that meet their needs and interests. We hope this gift will enhance your invaluable services.
This past week, we received the last of our books in from that grant. We are incredibly excited for these additions and can’t wait to get them in the hands of our patrons!
If you’ve never been to the Texas Book Festival, it is a wonderful event put on in Austin, Texas each year.

We have recently made a few changes to the Young Adult and Reference sections in the library. After running reports, we saw that the “humor” genre wasn’t circulating well. Plus, it was one of the smaller sections. Then, we realized that the Reference section wasn’t circulating since most patrons have access to our online reference databases. Because we want to make the most of the space we have, we decided to make some moves. Check out what we’ve done:
